I was born in Camp Lejeune in 1958. Unfortunately, my mom drank the contaminated water, and I did after I was born and then continue to be at the camp for two more years. Camp Lejeune has a 70% higher rate of Parkinson’s than any other base. I had nerve damage very early in life but was unaware of what it was, and no doctor figured it out until it got worse. This led to my chemical induced Parkinson’s later in life.
