I’ve had Parkinsons for 13 years, been on a regiment of Carbidopa Levodopa both normal and extended release, amantadine and Neupro patch. 3 years ago I had DBS and was able to cutback on the frequency and amount of drugs I had been taking until the last 3 months. they now seem to wear off sooner and I had to increase the dose and frequency again. I don’t suffer from tremors but more a balance and gait issue, i tend to freeze going through doorways and cluttered spaces. I’m just about to start a new drug Nourianz that I hope will help with my off periods. I’ll let you know how it goes.
