Biography

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have been married for more than 28 years, and now live on the remote beautiful coast of Northern California. My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s more than 15 years ago. He was doing pretty well until about 2 years ago when his symptoms started to increase rapidly. He is unwilling to do anything to help himself, making for a sad and frustrating experience for both of us. We are almost completely isolated. I need to take care of myself in order to care for him, and I’m very uncertain about the future. Maybe a forum like this will help.
