I am the sole caregiver to my 81-year-old Mother who was diagnosed in December 2014 with Parkinson’s. I started staying with her at that time due to multiple falls since then I have had to take early retirement to stay with her day and night. I myself was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in March 2020 during the pandemic and I have had the tremors for about eight months before they finally did the DAT scan to truly diagnose my Parkinson’s.
