Short Bio |
In August of 2016 my left leg began to tremor. Later that year at my annual physical my PCP suggested that I see a neurologist. That took place in February 2017. At that time the neurologist didn’t see enough ‘markers’ to make a diagnosis. By the next visit, August 2017, my left hand also had a tremor and I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. In that year leading up to the diagnosis I did a lot of research and became as knowledgeable as a lay person can be when it comes to hearing that you have a neurological disorder that currently has no cure. My husband and I told our three daughters and, as my doctor always said, live our life to the fullest.
