Dad was diagnosed w/ PD July 2010. We knew something was going on but wasn’t expecting this diagnosis to say the least but I remember feeling grateful that at least we knew what we were dealing with and could educate ourselves and get a plan an fight this thing together- that was wishful thinking due to the complexities of blended families and without having gone through this before, we just had to feel our way to our possessions as caregivers and also coworkers with some of us. It’s been an interesting ride so far and will write more details on my father & our family’s journey through this ever changing and most perplexing situation. God is good though- and had allowed us to keep our senses of humor and for that I am so grateful 🙂
