I recently started wheezing when I would bend over to put on shoes or socks. After seeing a pulmonologist I was diagnosed with asthma.
It was explained to me that Parkinson’s has caused scoliosis in my spine. The curvature of my spine “pinches” my diaphragm when I bend over, causing me to wheee.
