I am 67 and have had Parkinson’s symptoms for about 2 years. My second DaT scan yesterday was positive for Parkinson’s and my neurologist has ordered Carbidopa/Levadopa 3x /day. I have not begun the meds since I also have a very high ferritin level and wonder if I get that down if the PD symptoms will decrease. Also, my naturopath wants to do an ear wax test to confirm or rule out Parkinson’s. I am trusting God with all this and will take the meds eventually if I can’t get my ferritin level down or if the ear wax test is positive. Looking for input re. hesitancy on taking meds.
