I am a writer living in Northern Michigan. I am married (for 42 years), have two lovely grown daughters with wonderful husbands and four terrific grandchildren. The girls and their families live in the northern suburbs of Chicago. I was diagnosed with what they think is atypical parkinsonism a little over two years ago. I am learning that there is very little research into this condition, and no medications are available. Levedopa and Carbidopa made me very ill and had zero positive impact.
