Biography

I’m a change agent, I retired after working as a Behavior Counselor at the Castle High School,  I have been an outreach/ drug counselor working with youth for the past 25 years,  I changed to working with youth after my my experience in trying to stop the spread of HIV in Hawaii, I was an original CHOW started out walking the streets giving out Bleach, Condoms and lots of education,  additionally we did research into at risk behaviors, helped start the legal Hawaii needle exchange,  but in the end I was supervising CHOWS statewide, ie a lot of flying for the week,  and when finally tx and dx started to let people live longer, time for a change, now I’m becoming an advocate for Parkinson’s and myself
