New to this forum: Diagnosed 6 years ago. 68 years old. Have progressive left hand tremors. However, my index finger taps to the beat of “Staying Alive” by the Bee Gee’s, so I can now dance disco. Now my right hand is shaking, thus enabling me to direct music as good as Lawrence Welk. Who’s dead. I wake up in the morning with my toes curled up and difficulty walking until I can move around walking it off. I am on Rytary and Neupro patch. Parkinson’s has messed with my ability to ttttttype and it’s hard to sign my name, but thankfully I have retained most of my “large’ motions: I can run fairly competently, lift weights, and box against objects that can’t fight back. I have done Big & Loud religiously for 5 years.
Exercise is key. I’m convinced it slows progression.
