Biography

My husband has had PD for about ten years. He now uses a wheelchair most of the time. Sometimes it is as if he is catatonic. His eyes are closed, he cannot speak and cannot do what I ask him to do. This usually lasts about an hour. He can no longer read or write but enjoys listening to books and watching TV. I have to help him do everything, which gets very tiring. I sometimes lose my temper and then feel very guilty because I know it is not his fault. He only takes carbidopa levedopa. He tried Xadago and Govocri neither of which helped him and in fact I think he was worse when taking them.
