Short Bio |
I am an active, physically fit, 78-year-old male. My wife of 54 years died in August of 2022 of Parkinson’s Disease. She was diagnosed in 2010. I was diagnosed with PD in 2019, with symptoms that go back five years or so before that. My PD has been well controlled and I am able to ski well and mountain bike better than all but a few of my contemporaries. PD has slowed me down (literally) and balance issues have ended my cross-country ski racing, although they do not affect my downhill skiing. I am very grateful for this. Every day is a gift!
