• What is something you wish you had known sooner?

Being diagnosed with a chronic, life-altering disease like Parkinson’s can be overwhelming, especially initially. Is there anything you wish someone had told you when you were first diagnosed that, looking back, might have made the adjustment to your “new world order” a little easier? There are many newly diagnosed members in this community. What would you like to say to them that you wish someone had said to you?

I think it was such a shock for me, I can’t think of anything that someone could have told me that would have helped me to transition to my new reality.

I just want to give awareness of people about it.

Couponbiss, I agree, there is so much that people don’t know about PD.  Most people (myself included) thought it was just tremors.
