What do you do when you feel nervous?
I have a medical appointment this afternoon to have a procedure done, and honestly, I’m pretty nervous about it. I work in mental health so I know that taking deep breaths and maybe some meditation beforehand will help me to calm down, but I’m worried about feeling nervous immediately before and during the procedure — which could cause it to hurt more.
How do you deal with feelings of nervousness before a medical appointment or procedure? Do you have any advice for me? 🙂
