    The Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center (PICC) and Axial Biotherapeutics have launched a collaborative partnership to develop interventions targeting gastrointestinal metabolites that may fuel the development of Parkinson’s disease.

    This is an interesting -on gut metabolites- theory and seems a positive possibility toward at least halting PD progression. Even if it would not produce a cure, stopping the progression would be very welcome.

      This is not the first time I have heard how important health of the gut is in relation to PD.  Again, my head is spinning with all this information LOL.
