• Do you monitor your bone health?

While osteoporosis is not a direct symptom of Parkinson’s disease, studies have shown that up to 91% of women and 61% of men with PD have either osteoporosis or osteopenia, and people with PD are at a higher risk for osteoporosis and osteopenia than the general population.

Do you have either of these conditions? Do you know if you at risk of developing them? Are you monitoring your bone health with your doctor, and if you are, how?
