If your life has been affected by Parkinson’s disease, then the name Michael J. Fox is familiar to you. Not only is he the hero of the Back To The Future movies, but he’s also one of the most well-known faces of Parkinson’s disease.

Michael J. Fox was only 29 years old when he was first diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson’s, but he only shared the news with the world in 1998. Twenty-five years have passed since his diagnosis and Fox is still learning how to live with the disease that changed his life. In this video shared by The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (a foundation the actor started in 2000 when he had to give up acting because of his symptoms), learn more about Parkinson’s disease and meet some of the faces that live with it.
